Trying to Find My Silent Space

When contemplating "the sound of silence" my thoughts settled on... how do I find some of that?!
For me, this project developed into a light-hearted look at the hectic lives that so many of us lead.
Techniques involved a simple free form quilting process with feed dogs engaged, as well as hand painting.

  5. I really love your piece Heidi and I think you have successfully captured our busy lives. Finding that piece of silence can be tough sometimes, but I think you have done a great job, in depicting it with the piece of blue. The graphical nature and simplicity of colour of this piece really appeals to me. Amanda

  8. I didn't guess that you were the artist of this quilt. It's very different to your previous quilts and just as well done. I love the simple colour palette and the maze like design.
