Leftovers
When I did my research
for Balance, I made several attempts in my sketchbook, using paper-stencils. As
I didn’t want to throw these in the bin, I played a little on some of my less
successful attempts, and suddenly, I got
new ideas to explore later, maybe…
This is just the
cut-outs of the ballet-shoes, glued on some prints, with the left-over from my
paint roller:
I had also made an
attempt with the ballet-shoes on a green background. A total miss, so I just
glued some of the off-cuts on top and drew lines from the different layers.
Interesting result:
And – as a reminder of
our next reveal on Monday, here is a little peek from my sketchbook:
Greta
Love seeing some of your developmental thought processes, Greta - it's always interesting to see how other people approach things - and possible future opportunities. Thanks for the insight!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with Deborah! I also like to see the process of development. Thank you, Greta!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great resource for future ideas. Lovely work.
ReplyDeleteGreta the first image is so intriguing, it reminded me of the children's story about the shoes that made the wearer dance whenever they were put on. Quite a dark tale, although your's have a delicacy to them and nothing dark at all. I love peeking inside other people's sketch books they are always so interesting.
